使用ubuntu server安裝lamp主機非常的方便，只要在安裝系統的步驟中選擇就是了 。但是很多時候我需要在圖形界面下管理主機更加方便。今天的教程就是教大家安裝圖形界面。
【方法一】首先你需要確定你的源文件中 /etc/apt/sources.list 已經使用Universe和Multiverse庫。然后使用下面的命令來進行更新源列表和安裝圖形桌面。
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install x-window-system-core

sudo apt-get install gdm
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

【方法二】如果你只想安裝必要的桌面管理軟件而不想安裝一些諸如 Evolution 和 OpenOffice 的不需要的應用軟件，可使用下面的命令：
sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends ubuntu-desktop

【方法三】安裝輕量級桌面 xfce 使用下面的命令：
sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop

【方法四】安裝 KDE 桌面，使用下面的命令：
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

安裝圖形界面，前提是ubuntu server 已安裝成功，根分區，引導分區，交接分區，邏輯數據分區 都也設置好，否則會不可以安裝圖形界面。

和Redhat一樣進入圖形界面的命令是startx，但是直接在Ubuntu Server執行命令是startx，敲擊后會有安裝xinit的提示。

sudo apt-get install xinit?

安裝完，reboot重啟，運行startx，終端由黑色界面變成白底黑字。出現X型的鼠標指針。這不是我需要的，還是需要安裝gnome的桌面套件。

安裝命令為：

sudo apt-get install Ubuntu-desktop --no-install-recommends

安裝完后，啟動桌面環境。

指令：

＄ /etc/init.d/gdm start

?執行之后會提示你需要安裝的軟件包數量及大小，一下是我的安裝提示：

frank@ubuntu-server:~$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

看的有點眼花，為了實現Ubuntu Server的圖形界面需要下載850個軟件包，總共383M，安裝之后需要占用2064M的硬盤空間，出于好奇，我做了回小白鼠，執行了Ubuntu Server的圖形界面的安裝，結果1M帶寬的小水管，下載安裝共用了3個多小時。

另外還有KDE、XFCE 桌面環境這兩種圖形桌面環境可選，安裝命令分別是：

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

安裝好之后startx進入圖形界面，和Ubuntu Desktop的界面一樣，連OpenOffice都一起安裝上了。
