Artist statement

創(chuàng)作自述

The High Table:

Thin furnitures reach straight through the clouds. Lonely speaker standing with a broken wire. Dark shadows hiding from the burning light of sunset. Power is like a high table, unreachable, yet fragile. The ones standing on the ground will never see the view from the top just like how they will never understand what it feels like to be scared of height. The High Table is a semi-abstract painting that depicts power in its most original form. There really isn’t much to explain about the figures themselves, and unlike my previous artist statement that explains everything from top to bottom, I will leave this part for your own interpretation.
