Before starting to learn how to export bookmarks we need to learn bookmark export formats or types. There are two types of bookmark export format. JSON Bookmark Export Format is mainly used by Mozilla Firefox which is used between different Firefox Browsers to export, move and import bookmarks.

Mozilla Firefox provides the bookmarks and bookmark Manager inside the Library tool. So we will open the library and navigate to the Bookmark Manager. Bookmark manager can be opened in different ways. We can use the Library icon on the Firefox like below and then select the Bookmarks.

The Bookmarks menu provides following items and we will click to the Show All Bookmarks which will open the Bookmarks Manager.

Up to now, we have exported the Firefox bookmarks into different file types and formats like HTML and JSON. We can import these exported bookmark files into Firefox easily. We will use the Library tool again and click on the Import and Backup item from menu bar. Then we will click on the Import Bookmarks from HTML item like below.
